Processed foods lead to weight gain, but it's about more than calories

Kevin D. Hall, MD and his colleagues conducted a controlled clinical trial at the National Institute of Health (NIH) which revealed eating ultra-processed foods leads to weight gain in human volunteers in as little as 2 weeks. Yella Hewings-Martin PhD published the report to Medical News Today which describes the findings of the trial.
